The Parents’ Association is delighted to present this year’s special twist on the annual Bulldog Bash! On Saturday, October 24, the St. Albans community will unite with a virtual celebration for parents, faculty, and staff. The evening will feature scrumptious take-out catering and cocktails by Susan Gage; fabulous sign-up parties and master classes; performances and messages from notable alumni, including former U.S. Vice President and Nobel Prize recipient Al Gore ’65, Major League Baseball Player Matt Bowman ’09, Pulitzer Prize-winning Journalist Ian Urbina ’90, The Motley Fool Co-Founder Tom Gardner ’86, Hip-Hop Artist Beau Young Prince ’09, Singer-Songwriter Patrick Mattingly ’87, and others; and other fun surprises to enjoy from the comfort of home! It will be a truly unique opportunity to safely connect with familiar faces and new members of the St. Albans community during this time of social distancing.
Experience the red carpet treatment! Roll up to school in style at your appointed time on October 24 to take part in the Bulldog Bash Red Carpet Car Parade. Get the kids involved and show your school spirit by decorating your vehicle for the trip! “Celebrity” judges will await you on the red carpet to decide which car will win the Spirit Award, announced at the virtual event that evening. You’ll receive a special car-side delivery of boxed, catered delights to take home and enjoy during the show!
A favorite highlight of the Bulldog Bash is the opportunity to sign up for private events generously hosted by St. Albans parents throughout the winter and spring. This year’s virtual parties are creative, extraordinary, and often VIP-hosted experiences like never before. We’ve tapped into our incredibly talented pool of alumni, parents, and faculty to offer unique virtual parties and master classes, and there’s something for everyone! Sneak previews coming soon. Tickets for each event will be limited, and made available to guests of the Bulldog Bash exclusively on October 24, so gather a few friends, and get your fingers ready to sign up!
New this year are a limited number of “Executive Producer’s Credits” for community members who wish to have a special on-screen family ad during the event. See your student, your family, or your special message on screen as part of the event!
All current and alumni parents, as well as faculty and staff, are invited to participate in this special evening hosted by the Parents’ Association. Proceeds from the evening will go toward PA grants for faculty and classroom programs.
Last year, more than 400 parents attended this event at the National Cathedral. This year we hope that every family in the STA community will consider participating in the Bulldog Bash.
Families who receive financial aid should contact Joe Viola, our Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, for ticket information. All faculty and staff tickets can be underwritten with your generous support.
