The tradition of mens sana in corpore sano— a sound mind in a sound body—is central to St. Albans School. Our coaches are committed to developing character above all else through setting high standards of integrity, sportsmanship, and honor. -
Health & Wellness
Beginning in C Form (Grade 4), students are engaged in physical, health, and nutritional education. Through our sports medicine team, strength and conditioning program, and health seminars, students graduate with an established base of lifelong healthy habits. -

St. Albans athletics is about more than who’s on any single team roster. As one tight-knit community, we pride ourselves on showing up and showing out for each other. In themed games, packed stands, and proud school spirit, St. Albans students, parents, and fans pack the house to support each other. Because at St. Albans, nobody fights alone. -
Championship Facilities
We strive to provide our athletes with a premiere athletics experience — and that means the playing fields, locker rooms, and resources available to them are equipped to support their needs. In the last decade, more than $25 million have been invested into overhauling our athletic facilities.

We Play
For Each Other
Teamwork, individual sacrifice, integrity, sportsmanship, and developing the whole boy are the foundation of the St. Albans athletic program. Lower School boys gain self-confidence and develop physical skills in their younger years and are able to join interscholastic teams starting in Form A (grade 6). Upper School athletics offers 14 varsity sports that compete in the Interscholastic Athletic Conference (IAC) and regionally. Each season Upper School boys are also offered intramural opportunities in voyageur, fitness, and other activities.

Located in Washington D.C., St. Albans School is a private, all boys day and boarding school.
