  • Financial Aid Policies

    • All parents—custodial and non-custodial, natural and stepparent—must submit completed information to Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS). Failure to do so may result in the School’s not granting financial aid. It is the position of St. Albans that all parents retain the obligation to contribute to the education of their children, whether or not there is a legal agreement between them to do so. The School expects each parent to contribute as much as calculations show they can afford, even if a divorce settlement stipulates a different amount.
    • The Financial Aid Committee receives financial aid recommendations from TADS based on a computerized systematic analysis of the family’s financial situation. The committee awards financial aid based upon the review of those recommendations.
    • Any student to whom financial aid is awarded can expect that aid to continue as long as he remains in good academic and disciplinary standing at St. Albans and provided his family continues to demonstrate need and is not in financial arrears. Application for assistance must be submitted annually.
