Libraries

—Head of Lower School Fred Chandler

“Reading books percolates boys' creativity, reveals to them their inner lives, and helps them to understand better the world around them.”
St. Albans’ libraries foster intellectual curiosity, sharing of ideas, development of research skills, and a love of reading which is the basis for all learning. As a member of the Closewide District Libraries with Beauvoir and the National Cathedral School for Girls, St. Albans libraries support the curriculum through individual collections and a sharing of joint resources.

Located in Washington D.C.,  St. Albans School is a private, all boys day and boarding school. For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12. While our students reach exceptional academic goals and exhibit first-rate athletic and artistic achievements, as an Episcopal school we place equal emphasis upon moral and spiritual education.
