1909 Society

Loyalty Matters

The 1909 Society recognizes and celebrates the school's most loyal and committed Annual Giving donors. Anyone who has made a gift to St. Albans for three (or more) consecutive years is eligible to join the group.

Sustained support is the bedrock of Annual Giving, which is critical for providing St. Albans with a margin for excellence. Individually and collectively, members of The 1909 Society play a critical role in maintaining the core elements of the school's unique teaching and learning environment.

Membership does not hinge on a specific dollar figure, but rather the frequency with which one chooses to give. Taken together, gifts from 1909 Society members are the foundation of Annual Giving, without which the school's ability to meet new opportunities and emerging needs would be significantly diminished. Simply said, St. Albans would not be St. Albans without this group's ongoing loyalty.

Becoming a Member

Joining the 1909 Society is simple: make a gift to Annual Giving—of any amount—for three consecutive fiscal years without interruption (our fiscal year runs July 1 to June 30). Donors who do so automatically become members of the group and are specially acknowledged for their sustained support in the Annual Report of Donors.

St. Albans is incredibly grateful for the support of all donors, especially those whose commitment is so regular and true. Thank you.

Located in Washington D.C.,  St. Albans School is a private, all boys day and boarding school. For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12. While our students reach exceptional academic goals and exhibit first-rate athletic and artistic achievements, as an Episcopal school we place equal emphasis upon moral and spiritual education.
