About

Strategic Plan

Alumni of St. Albans often reflect on the singular, indispensable role the school played in their moral and intellectual development, describing St. Albans as the place where they learned the most about themselves and the kind of life they aspired to lead.

During the process of writing our new Strategic Plan, we have thought deeply about how we tell the story of St. Albans: the traditions and texture of our community; the qualities that contribute to our distinctive culture; and the affection our boys, families, and graduates feel for this special place.

Just as St. Albans transforms the lives of the boys under our care, we have always been committed to the renewal and transformation of ourselves as an institution. Our new Strategic Plan reflects this commitment to continual self-examination in light of new challenges and new opportunities. Our plan seeks not just to tell the story of our school, but to enlarge the story we tell about ourselves, as we aspire to live more fully into the promise and possibilities of our mission.
Located in Washington D.C.,  St. Albans School is a private, all boys day and boarding school. For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12. While our students reach exceptional academic goals and exhibit first-rate athletic and artistic achievements, as an Episcopal school we place equal emphasis upon moral and spiritual education.
