Arts at St. Albans

St. Albans encourages each student to increase his knowledge of the arts and to gain an aesthetic appreciation for the world around him. By exposing students to a colorful array of visual and performing art opportunities, the school encourages each student to discover and develop his unique talents.

Our performing arts program is coordinate with the National Cathedral School. Starting in Form C (Grade 4), boys and girls may choose to perform in the orchestra. In Forms I and II (Grades 7 and 8), drama classes, theatrical productions, and music ensembles, such as the Middle School Chorus, bring together students from both schools. In the Upper School, nearly all art activities and classes are coordinate, including the theater program and 160-voice Chorale.
