Helping To End Hunger

Rise Against Hunger

Twenty-three Upper and Lower School students, their families, and the Reverends Leslie Chadwick and Rachelle Sam joined 1,000 volunteers at the Rise Against Hunger meal-packaging event in McLean, Va., this weekend, to help end hunger around the world. According to Rise Against Hunger, volunteers were able to package 278,000 meals that will be delivered to hospitals in the war-torn country of Yemen, which is on the brink of famine after four years of conflict.
