St. Albans School is located on Mount St. Alban, at the corner of Wisconsin and Massachusetts Avenues, Northwest, Washington, DC, on the south side of the Washington National Cathedral.

We kindly request that all visitors to St. Albans School park in the underground Cathedral Parking Garage and avoid parking on neighborhood streets. Visitors should use the garage’s main entrance off Wisconsin Avenue, located in front of the Cathedral near the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and Woodley Road (at the traffic light). Visitors should not use the Woodley Road entrance to the garage. Continuous shuttle bus service will be available between the Garage and St. Albans.

For Your Convenience

  • Handicap parking spaces are located on each level of the garage near the elevators.

  • Please obtain a ticket upon entrance to the garage, and bring your ticket with you to the Grandparents & Special Friends Day registration tables for validation purposes.

  • Once you park, take the elevator up to the “Cathedral / Ground” floor. A St. Albans School host will meet you and guide you to the shuttle (just several steps from the elevator). The shuttle will drop you off at Senior Circle, where you may check in for Grandparents & Special Friends Day. The shuttle will be available throughout the day to take you from Senior Circle to the Cathedral Parking Garage.

  • A St. Albans School host can also give you walking directions should you choose. (Distance is approximately 350 yards from garage to registration tables).
Back
Located in Washington D.C.,  St. Albans School is a private, all boys day and boarding school. For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12. While our students reach exceptional academic goals and exhibit first-rate athletic and artistic achievements, as an Episcopal school we place equal emphasis upon moral and spiritual education.
