2023 Open House Recap

On Sunday, October 29, about 700 prospective students and family members were warmly welcomed to the St. Albans campus by an array of students, current parents, and faculty and staff members for the annual Fall Open House.

It was a day that featured tours, panels, snacks, and conversation — described by Director of Admissions Dr. Joe Viola as a “remarkable success.”

In the Upper School, student and faculty panelists answered questions ranging from their favorite part of the day (daily family-style lunch) to their favorite memory (playing giant Twister and mega Connect in front of the student fan section, BEEF Club). Students also touched on challenges, their misconceptions about St. Albans before starting here, and their closest relationships with faculty or staff members. Highlights from the Upper School panel discussion are available here.

The Lower School panelists — which included two faculty members and three students — were also eager to talk about their beloved family-style lunch. They also spoke about the power of the St. Albans brotherhood, academic challenges, and the arts. Check out their conversation here.
