STA Students Travel to Spain
In June, St. Albans partnered with LITA to provide Form I and II students a nine-day dynamic language immersion experience in Valladolid, Spain.
This is the second year STA has worked with LITA, a small, rural-focused language immersion program based in Austin, Texas, that provides high school students with unique experiences in Spain.
As part of the immersive experience, STA students were removed from English-speaking tourism and engaged in daily Spanish language classes. They enjoyed sightseeing adventures to Segovia’s aqueduct, Burgos’s Cathedral, the National Archives, and an Iberian instrument museum, and ate/cooked great food. Additionally, there were activities such as scavenger hunts, a school exchange, and games with Spanish students.
