On Wednesday, March 16, 2016, STA hosted its first home track and field meet in nearly 50 years! According to school archivist Mark Wilkerson, STA hosted its last home track meet in 1969. With the completion of the athletic field renovation, STA now has a state-of-the-art, regulation track and stadium to host other schools for home meets.

The NCS Eagles joined the Bulldogs in welcoming Georgetown Day, Sidwell, and St. Anslem’s for this historic meet. Highlights from the Bulldogs included first place sweeps in the 110m and 300m hurdles by Theo Bates ’16 and wins in both the long jump and triple jump by Jordan Edwards ’16, with distances of 21’5” and 42’8”, respectively.
