On Friday, February 26, author Sneed Collard stopped by the Parrott Library for a writing workshop with Form B students. He worked with the boys on writing revisions, focusing on techniques such as eliminating passive verbs. Together they revised a short movie review of Star Wars. The boys had the opportunity to ask Collard about his writing process and about some of his many books that they have read, including The Governor’s Dog is Missing, Hangman’s Gold, Shep, Double Eagle, and Cartwheel. Noted Collard, “The boys did an awesome job, and I think, came away with a much better understanding how to tackle the revision process.” Enjoy the photos!
