Lower and Upper School Art Shows

STA students’ original paintings, sculptures, displays, and other mixed media went on display throughout the Upper and Lower School as part of the Annual STA Exhibition of Student Art. Family and friends were invited to take in the students’ hard work and artistic expressions while enjoying refreshments on campus. While many of the pieces draw their inspiration from students’ experiences at St. Albans, like athletics, the Little Sanctuary, classmates, or the grounds of the Close, others created pieces focusing on memories and experience unique to them - like travel, emotions, family, hobbies, and personal stories.

The pieces highlight students' use of a variety of mediums from acrylic and watercolors, to metalworking and sculpture, as well as forms of digital media. To view more of the students’ pieces, visit our gallery here.

Located in Washington D.C., St. Albans School is a private, all boys day and boarding school. For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12. While our students reach exceptional academic goals and exhibit first-rate athletic and artistic achievements, as an Episcopal school we place equal emphasis upon moral and spiritual education.
