REUNITE | RECONNECT | REMINISCE

On behalf of the St. Albans School Alumni Association, it is our pleasure to welcome you back to campus for Reunion Weekend 2024, May 2-4, 2024, to reunite, reconnect, and reminisce! While we are excited to welcome back and celebrate milestone reunions of classes ending in 4s and 9s, all alumni are welcome!

This weekend is all about you and your classmates. We encourage you to take full advantage of your time back at STA. We have a number of grand events planned for the weekend, and the Cathedral Close will be at its vibrant during the 84th Annual Flower Mart.

We look forward to seeing you in May and know that you will have a wonderful time catching up with friends and teachers and remembering your years at St. Albans School!

    Annual Alumni Meeting and Dinner
    5:30 p.m. Reception (Senior Circle) ~ Rain location is the Ellison Library
    6:30 p.m. Dinner (Cafritz Refectory)
    The St. Albans Alumni Association requests the pleasure of your company at the Annual Alumni Meeting and Dinner. Jeffrey D. Zients '84 will be the keynote speaker for the evening. Paul B. Cromelin III '72 will receive the Gilchrist-Holleman Alumni Service Award.
    Cost - $30 person (No cost to the Classes 2020-2023)

    33rd Annual Bulldog Golf Outing (Four Streams Golf Club, Beallsville, MD)
    Please join us for the 33rd Annual Bulldog Golf Outing. This year the outing will take place at Four Streams Golf Club in Beallsville, MD on a 300-acre parcel in the Agricultural Reserve in Montgomery County, Maryland. 
    Check-in begins at 8:45 a.m.
    Cost - $75 per person

    Pick up your registration packet, head to the school store for some new Bulldog gear, visit a class, or take a tour of the school led by student volunteers. Copies of Albanian and editions of the St. Albans News from your era will also be on hand for your perusal. Please check in at registration for available class schedules.

    Lower School Lunch (Cafritz Refectory)
    All alumni are welcome to join Forms C, B, A, I, and II for lunch. Walk-ins are welcome.
     
    6:00 p.m.
    27th Annual NCS-STA Reunion BBQ (Upper Field, Athletic Center, National Cathedral School)
    Join all STA and NCS reunion classes for an enjoyable evening on the Close, featuring BBQ, games, and activities for the whole family.
    Cost - $25 per person & Children 12 and under are free.

    8:30 a.m. Birding in Olmsted Woods (Depart from Senior Circle)
    The D.C. region plays host to over 200 migratory bird species every spring. US faculty member Doug Errett will help novices and seasoned bird-watchers spot a few in and around the Olmsted Woods, concentrating on warblers and other migratory songbirds. Binoculars and field guides will be provided.

    Memorial Chapel Service (Little Sanctuary)
    All alumni are encouraged to gather to remember and honor classmates and friends who are no longer with us. The Rev. Brooks Hundley, Senior Chaplain, will officiate.
     
    12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
    Bulldog Brunch and Trivia Challenge (Cafritz Refectory)
    Host Mark Wilkerson takes a dive into the St. Albans' Archives to test your Bulldog knowledge. Help yourself to a buffet brunch with soft drinks and beer (21+ for alcohol), grab a table, and show off your trivia skills. We're playing for pride - and a few prizes!
    Cost - $15 per person.
     
    1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
    Schaffer Send-Off (Manger Trophy Room)
    Head of Upper School Dr. Sam Schaffer takes a celebratory walk down memory lane, highlighting his favorite moments and lessons learned over the past 25 years at St. Albans. Please join us in sending off Dr. Schaffer to become the 12th Headmaster of Roxbury Latin in Boston.
    3:00 to 4:45 p.m.
    Networking and Beer Tasting joint with NCS (Sam’s Bar and Folger Games Deck, Marriott Hall)
    Network and connect with classmates and fellow alumni while sampling beers from D.C.’s own Hellbender Brewing Company. Co-founder Ben Evans (and his spouse, Lower School Dean Kelly Castellanos Evans) will be on hand to discuss (and pour) Hellbender’s brews.
     
    6:30 p.m.
    Individual Class Reunion Dinners (Various Locations around the City)
    Locations, definitive start times, and separates charges to be determined.
