Citizen Meteorologists
Working remotely on January 3, students in JT Miller’s Lower School science classes mobilized as citizen meteorologists in the middle of the snowstorm. Spread out across the DMV, 76 boys in Form C and Form A took snow measurements at their homes during class time. They documented their findings on Google Maps showing heavier snowfall in southern DC and lesser snowfall in the Bethesda region – matching the prediction forecast by the Capital Weather Gang.
