Form C Ingenuity on Display
C Formers in Tim Brockway’s class displayed their ingenuity with two recent projects: creating displays of the four layers of a rain forest, from anywhere in the world, with at least one plant and animal from each layer; and inventing something, like the creative character “Father” in the book they are reading, In the Year of the Boar and Jackie Robinson, written by Bette Bao Lord and illustrated by Marc Simont. Student inventions ranged from a Velcro-taped ball and glove to help boys with “butterfingers” to a squirrel toy so cats and dogs can play together—and not fight to a portable self-watering garden.

Located in Washington D.C.,  St. Albans School is a private, all boys day and boarding school. For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12.
