Semper Fidelis

In their weekly Remote Plus session, Form V students welcomed back Tip Myers ’11, a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy who served as a Marine Corps Infantry officer for five years, during which time he deployed to Japan, Korea, and Europe, and served as company commander. Myers offered students with three pieces of advice to carry with them beyond STA before answering their questions:
    1. Be humble; there’s always someone smarter than you.
    2. Keep reading and never stop learning.
    3. Find sincere mentors to help guide you.
Myers is now getting his MBA at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. At STA, Myers was a member of the most successful crew team in STA history and went on to row crew for four years at the Naval Academy as a member of the heavyweight varsity crew team.
