Battle of the Robots

Form A students have spent the last few weeks studying coding and programming in their Science classes. They culminated their lesson with the ultimate showdown: LEGO Robot Field Day! Students competed in three categories, which they designed as a class: Mr. Brown’s class competed in LEGO Bowling, where students had to knock down dry erase markers by having their robots push a tennis ball; Mr. Levner’s class competed in a Treasure Dash, where robots raced to the center of the square to capture the treasure (a tennis ball); and Mrs. Continetti’s class competed in Round the Bases, having their robots make four left turns touching all bases before returning to home plate. Located in Washington D.C.,  St. Albans School is a private, all boys day and boarding school. For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12. While our students reach exceptional academic goals and exhibit first-rate athletic and artistic achievements, as an Episcopal school we place equal emphasis upon moral and spiritual education.
