Parents’ Association Finishes Year Strongly

New officers were named at Annual Meeting on May 9.

At its Annual Meeting in May, the Parents’ Association elected officers for next school year. They are Chris Grigorian, President; Krissy Benner, President-Elect and Upper School VP; Mary Ruppe Nash, Lower School VP; Kim Summerville, Treasurer; and Linda Willard, Secretary. In recognition of his long-standing dedication to the PA, Acting Headmaster Dave Baad ’83 was made an honorary STA parent.

The PA also heard reports on the many faculty bonuses and grants that it funded this year, including grant money for new 3D printers, computers for the physics classes, a Harkness-style conference table, software for the hockey team, a classroom visit by a falconer, and a new video projection system for Trapier Theater. The PA’s various fundraising efforts throughout the year make these awards possible.
