Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month

Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month

NCS and STA AAPI families celebrated AAPI Heritage Month with a pot luck and movie night. Students and their families enjoyed delicious, authentic food from various cultures, games of soccer on the Little Field, and a viewing of “Crazy Rich Asians” in Trapier Theater. Said one parent, “It’s such a good way to meet other families whom we may not cross paths with as much. It’s nice to see the kids intermingle across grades too.” Another commented, “[The event] not only allowed us to honor and appreciate the rich heritage and contributions of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, but it also served as a reminder of the strength that lies in our diversity.” Thank you to all the families for sharing food, drinks, time, and joy with this community. Enjoy photos from their celebration of heritage and culture.
