Delivering Better Highs and Healthier Lows at Prevention Convention
STA and NCS welcomed Dr. Matt Bellace, a speaker and stand-up comedian whose programs encourage people to pursue natural highs and reduce stress, for their annual Prevention Convention this week. With a PhD in clinical neuropsychology, Dr. Bellace provided an insightful, science-based, and seriously funny approach to substance abuse prevention and mental health awareness. In addition to his presentation, Form II boys and Grade 8 girls met with student leaders in Forms V and VI and Grades 11 and 12 for candid discussions about life in the Upper School.
