Thank You for Your Community Service Support!

Thank you, Close families, for your contributions and support of our winter service drives. Together, the three schools on the Close helped local elders, unhoused youth, children in need of medical care, and food-insecure folks. Our Season of Love service events supported the Armed Forces Retirement Home, Children’s National Medical Center Blood Donor Center, Christ House, Martha’s Table, Sasha Bruce Youthwork, St. Thomas Episcopal Church refugee outreach, the Wanda Alston Foundation, and We Are Family. Students have held a food drive and bake sales, assembled love kits and snack bags, and volunteered their time at several organizations. Enjoy all the scenes of students spreading love through service and Mr. Chandler announcing to the Lower School that their good work would result in a free dress day!
