LEGO Robot Field Day 2022

Enjoy the video and photos!

Form A students have been building and programming new LEGO SPIKE Prime robots in science class in anticipation for the culminating event: LEGO Robot Field Day! Each homeroom designed their competition for the field day. Mr. Brown’s homeroom competed in Jousting, where robots raced to knock as many balls off of LEGO blocks as they could in 60 seconds. Mr. Harrison’s homeroom competed in an Obstacle Course, where each robot raced a path within boundaries without rolling over red tape placed along the course, which added a minute penalty to their final time for each occurrence. Mr. Levner’s homeroom competed in a Zig Zag Race, where robots faced off head-to-head in a speed race after completing a zig zag pattern and staying within the course boundaries. Congratulations to all the homeroom champions of LEGO Robot Field Day! Enjoy the video and photos from the competitions!

The LEGO SPIKE Prime robots were purchased using a Faculty Classroom Grant from the St. Albans School Parents’ Association.
