Tying it All Together: Nick Brentley ’02 Visits with Form I

After reconnecting with Form I Leader Martin MacIntyre ’05 at Reunion Weekend, Nick Brentley ’02 joined Form I students this week to share his artistic journey through the years. As a founding member of the STA a capella group, now known as Jackets Off, Brentley recalled the many performing arts he participated in while at STA before heading to Amherst to study music, dance, and theater. Having explored a career in musical theater in New York City, he went on to join dance groups, stage manage, and even joined the circus; he’s literally done it all!

Brentley now resides in San Francisco where he continues to perform and serve as a clothing stylist. His style is something that really took form while at St. Albans, as he could often be seen in the halls donning three-piece suits, suspenders, and bow ties. He shared this love of style with students as he demonstrated how to properly tie a Windsor knot. Enjoy photos from his visit!

For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12. While our students reach exceptional academic goals and exhibit first-rate athletic and artistic achievements, as an Episcopal school we place equal emphasis upon moral and spiritual education.
