Donets ’22 Named Semifinalist in Presidential Scholars Program
The U.S. Department of Education has announced that Peter Donets ’22 is a semifinalist in the 2022 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, one of the nation’s highest honors for graduating high school students. Candidates are reviewed based on standardized test scores, academic achievement, personal characteristics, an essay, and leadership and service activities. In May, the Commission on Presidential Scholars will select approximately 160 finalists, who will be honored at a national recognition program sponsored by the White House, tentatively scheduled for late June.
