“I Still Have Joy”



St. Albans welcomed renowned singer and pianist, Ralph Herndon. A native of D.C., Mr. Herndon is regarded as one of the premier gospel musicians in the region and has served numerous churches and organizations in the area, including Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Howard University, the Gospel Music Workshop of America, Washington Performing Arts, and the Choral Arts Society of Washington. Nicknamed “The Maestro” by his colleagues, Mr. Herndon joined the Lower and Upper School communities for chapel where he sang a selection of songs, including “I’m Glad God Made Me,” and the NCS-STA Chorale for a special collaborative rehearsal where he taught “I Still Have Joy.” Enjoy videos of his performances.
