STA Robotics Club

The Robotics Club presented at Upper School assembly last week and encouraged fellow students to join the club next season. Noted Damian Hackett ’21, one of the four senior co-captains: “Doing robotics for the past four years has definitely been one of the highlights of my experience at STA. And I think my co-captains would say the same. In addition to the incredible opportunities to travel to competitions around the country and the world, the skills and experiences you gain are really invaluable — especially if you’re thinking about considering a career in STEM. Members of the team have been able to take advantage of really exciting opportunities in the science and engineering world, ones that they might not have had if they had not joined the club. We also want to stress that ... there is no requirement for prior experience to join. You can be really successful in the club as long as you are interested in joining and eager to learn.”
