“I Have a Dream”

In a special chapel honoring the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Class of 2029 presented an abridged version of his “I Have a Dream” speech, delivered at the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom in August 1963. This is a new C Form tradition; the first C Formers to recite the speech together are now in Form II. In introducing the video to the Lower School community, Form C teacher Ms. Goodyear said, “His words are a response to racial injustice, but their wisdom applies to injustice of any kind, to hatred of any kind, to violence of any kind.” Enjoy the video!
