At the virtual graduation ceremony, Headmaster Jason Robinson told the assembled families: “We are counting on these remarkable young men, filled with such promise and possibility, to take what they have learned here —and the privileges they have enjoyed—and put them in service to causes and ideals larger than themselves. Our school hymn speaks to us now more than ever: “Men of the future stand ...” You have been given the gift of a wonderful academic education at St. Albans; but the true foundation of a moral and intellectual community rests on a sacred covenant of mutual love and respect. As the Apostle Paul says, ‘If I can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, but I have not love, I am nothing.’
The headmaster encouraged the boys: “I challenge you to leave St. Albans with a full heart—with love, courage, conscience, and conviction. Be repairers of the breaches in our world and renew our faith in the promise and possibilities of our school, our city, and our nation.”

Located in Washington D.C., St. Albans School is a private, all boys day and boarding school. For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12. While our students reach exceptional academic goals and exhibit first-rate athletic and artistic achievements, as an Episcopal school we place equal emphasis upon moral and spiritual education.
