Seeking the Unusual and Beautiful Across the Close

LS-Photo-Club
Between winter and spring breaks, Friday afternoons in the Lower School are reserved for clubs, where students can relax and have fun. This year in the photography club, on campus before distance learning began, teachers Erl Houston and Sean Nolan showed students how to work a digital camera and how best to capture the perfect image using composition, forced perspective or trick photography, movement, rule of thirds, and shutter speed. The boys spread out across the Close in the hopes of finding unusual vantage points and beautiful scenes. Enjoy this slide show of their work.

Located in Washington D.C.,  St. Albans School is a private, all boys day and boarding school. For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12. While our students reach exceptional academic goals and exhibit first-rate athletic and artistic achievements, as an Episcopal school we place equal emphasis upon moral and spiritual education.
