Everyone Has a Story

Enjoy the videos and photos!

The Lower School culminated its celebration of Black History Month with a special chapel. Continuing on with this year's theme Everyone Has a Story, Mrs. Elliott shared slave experiences through the podcast 1619 and students shared their personal stories. In a powerful scene, students across forms joined together to recite Langston Hughes’ “Let America Be America Again,” while the hymns “We Shall Overcome” and “Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing” helped share the story of Black America through song. Enjoy photos and video from this beautiful chapel.

For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12. While our students reach exceptional academic goals and exhibit first-rate athletic and artistic achievements, as an Episcopal school we place equal emphasis upon moral and spiritual education.
