A Capital Fourth Celebration

This year’s PBS broadcast of “A Capitol Fourth” featured fifteen students from the NCS-STA choirs. For the past eight summers, Director of Choral Music Brandon Straub has prepared members of the Choral Arts Society of Washington for the annual broadcast. Various members of the NCS-STA Chorale have sung with the Choral Arts Youth Choir, but this year’s production featured a special choreographed performance of “This Is Me,” led by Keala Settle, in which members of the Lower and Middle School choirs were invited to perform alongside the adults and youth.
