Form A Students Make Shark Tank-style Pitches

Form A Shark Tank
Form A students in Anne Continetti’s history class undertook a research project with a twist. Students made Shark Tank-style pitches for historic inventions. Divided into cleverly named groups, A Formers chose an important invention they had studied in history class, created an oral presentation using visuals and samples of the invention, then delivered a sales pitch to select Upper and Lower School faculty explaining how the invention would change the world. The pitches included the telescope by InFocus, the printing press by Exquisite Press, the microscope by CRuMB & Associates, the aqueduct by Aqua4All, and the three-field planting system by Legumes & Co.
