Scenes from the 109th Blue-White Field Day

The weather could not have been more perfect as the Lower School boys charged Steuart Field for the 109th Blue-White Field Day. Boys competed in dash races, sack races, three-legged races, football and hurdle relays, quarter-mile relays, the long jump, and tugs-of-war. Brave parents also joined their sons for a special heat of the three-legged race, a spectator favorite.

The Blue team was victorious in competitions, but both teams’ captains were very proud of everyone’s showing of great sportsmanship, camaraderie, and athleticism.

You can visits Mr. Miller’s Flickr page for more great shots of the 109th Blue-White Field Day, including pictures from the warm ups, dash heats, dash finals, sack races, 3-legged race, parent-son 3-legged race, football relays, hurdle relays, 4x100 relays, tug of war, and the awards ceremony. Go, Dogs!
