Luke Russert ’04 will join us to discuss his debut memoir, Look for Me There, with Donna Denizé (Trapier Theater)
Luke Russert followed in the footsteps of his late legendary father Tim Russert, carving out a highly successful career at NBC News--winning an Emmy, interviewing Presidents, Senators, House Speakers, Prime Ministers and reporting stories from all over the country. After eight years covering politics on television, Luke realized he had no good answer as to why he was chasing his father's legacy. As the son of two accomplished parents—his mother, journalist Maureen Orth of Vanity Fair—Luke felt the pressure of high expectations but suddenly decided to leave the familiar path behind.

What began as several open-ended months of travel to decompress and reassess morphed into a three-plus-year odyssey across six continents and nearly seventy countries, to discover the world and, ultimately, to find himself. That journey led to Luke's first book. His debut memoir, "Look For Me There" released by HarperCollins Publishers. Please join us as we welcome Luke back to the Close.

Networking and Beer Tasting joint with NCS (Sam’s Bar and Folger Games Deck, Marriott Hall)
