Alumni Directory Update

St. Albans School is working with Publishing Concepts (PCI) to create a new printed and digital alumni directory. 

PCI, a family-owned business based in Dallas that has published directories for educational institutions and other organizations for over 100 years, is currently reaching out to all STA alumni to verify the accuracy of the alumni data the school has on file. Most alumni should have already received at least an email, postcard, and/or phone call asking to verify or update their alumni profiles by phone. If you hear from PCI, we hope you will respond by phone. We are always eager to have up-to-date contact information for our alumni community.

Please note that the primary benefit to the school will be your updated information that allows us to more effectively communicate with and engage with you, our alumni; PCI will benefit financially from any products being sold, not St. Albans. (Please note that there is no obligation to purchase anything from PCI.)

This initial outreach by PCI may have caused some confusion (i.e., the appearance that PCI’s callers were working for the school directly, or that PCI had no connection to the school, or that purchase of the PCI products in some way supports STA financially); therefore, we are sending this notice directly as a stand-alone email to let you know that PCI’s next planned outreach has been changed to eliminate such implication. 

Alumni will have the opportunity to purchase a printed or digital directory (available in early 2026) either alone, or paired with apparel packages; again, there is no obligation to purchase anything.

Is the postcard/phone call/email I received from PCI legit?
Yes. We have contracted with PCI to update our alumni contact information and create a new printed and digital alumni directory.

Do I have to buy the directory or merchandise they are offering?
No. There is no obligation to purchase anything from PCI, and STA does not benefit financially from their sales.

How does STA benefit from this project? 
Having accurate and up-to-date contact information for our alumni strengthens our community. 

When will the directory be ready?
Early 2026.

How do I know PCI won’t use my contact information for other purposes?
PCI, which has been publishing institutional directories for more than 100 years, is legally bound NOT to sell your information to anyone.

I didn’t receive a postcard or email or phone call. Can I still update my information?
Yes. Call 1-800-451-4208 between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm EST to reach PCI directly.  The last day to call in updates is September 26, 2025.

I ordered a directory/package over the phone and would like to cancel my order. How do I do this?
Contact PCI’s customer service help desk at 1-866-571-4598 or  pciservice@publishingconcepts.com, and they will take care of this for you.
