Supporting your class’ Reunion Gift effort is a gratifying part of the overall celebration. The St. Albans Reunion Giving program, which focuses on increased class support of Annual Giving, formalizes an urge felt by many alumni at this unique time: to acknowledge a new stage in their lives and to give back to an institution that nurtured their development.

Each year, Annual Giving relies on increased Reunion class giving and participation in order to meet the School’s needs. Gifts of every size are an important way that class’ can demonstrate their esprit de corps while at the same time proving critical support for students and teachers. Further, Reunion philanthropy helps strengthen individual and class ties with the School by renewing shared class feelings of pride and loyalty.

Please mark your calendars for Reunion Weekend on May 1-2, 2020; STA 50th Reunion on June 5-6, 2020; and the 111th Commencement on June 6, 2020. Click here to view the 2018-2019 Alumni calendar of events.

What can our class do to participate?

  • Contact Lanier Frank '79  in the Development and Alumni Relations Office at 202-537-5682, and he'll gladly involve you in your class planning and gift activity.
  • Join your class Reunion Committee (Classes ending in ’4s and ’9s).
  • Volunteer to connect with classmates to ask them to attend Reunion Weekend and contribute to the Reunion Gift effort.
Reunion classes each year engage in friendly year-long inter-class competition, the Race for the Cups, to raise dollars and participation. In addition they compete with other classes who have celebrated the same milestone to establish dollar and participation records for the particular Reunion year. The school recognizes winners of the following awards in the Annual Report and at the annual Alumni Dinner in March.
