Parent Giving

94% participation—WOW!

St. Albans families are among the most generous in the country, a fact that is underscored by the excellent 2017-18 Annual Giving results. Ninety-four percent of current households—471 in all—supported Annual Giving, collectively contributing more than $1.3 million.

Every year, gifts to Annual Giving provide the school with 10% of its operating budget. In turn, these contributions are used to support faculty salaries, student financial aid, and all the many opportunities that make St. Albans a uniquely outstanding place for teachers and learners.

Every donor and every gift is important and appreciated. Broad participation encourages generosity in others and highlights the exceptional commitment alumni, parents, and friends have to the school. Annual Giving is about more than raising critical operating support, it's also a celebration of our community's dedication to the values and philosophy of St. Albans School.

Such incredible results are made possible with many donors and, of course, many volunteers. To all who gave and to all who helped encourage others to give, thank you. Your gifts of treasure, time, and talent make a true difference to everyone at the school.
Located in Washington D.C.,  St. Albans School is a private, all boys day and boarding school. For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12. While our students reach exceptional academic goals and exhibit first-rate athletic and artistic achievements, as an Episcopal school we place equal emphasis upon moral and spiritual education.
