National Spanish Exam Honors
Congratulations to St. Albans Lower School Spanish students who attained national recognition for excellent performance on the 2023 National Spanish Examinations. Students from St. Albans School earned a total of 18 gold (including four perfect scores), 14 silver, and 12 bronze medals, along with 11 honorable mentions.

“Attaining a medal or honorable mention for any student on the National Spanish Examinations is very prestigious,” said Lisa Greenman, National Director of the Exams, “because the exams are the largest of their kind in the United States with nearly 85,000 students participating in 2023.”

Lower School students have a long history of high achievement on these exams and were taught by Lower School Spanish teachers Ms. Kelly Castellanos Evans (Form II), Mr. Daniel Finer (Forms A, I, and II) and Ms. Lisa Blanford (Forms C, B, and I).
