Exploring the National Museum of Asian Art

Last week, coordinate Chinese 2, Chinese 4, and AP Chinese classes visited the National Museum of Asian Art to celebrate its 100th anniversary. The highlight of the trip was the captivating exhibition Anyang: China’s Ancient City of Kings. Students had an incredible opportunity to explore Chinese history, language, and culture while immersing themselves in the world of Asian arts. The museum showcased a premier collection of Asian art, including works by James McNeill Whistler. After the museum visit, students and their teachers enjoyed making dumplings and singing Chinese karaoke at the East Dumpling House.
