The Phantom Tollbooth

April 21-22, 7:00 pm, Trapier Theater

Join us on Friday, April 21, and Saturday, April 22, at 7:00 pm for the Middle School spring production of Norton Juster’s beloved book, “The Phantom Tollbooth,” adapted by Susan Nanus. Students from Form I and Form II at STA and 7th and 8th grade at NCS have enjoyed exploring this story that follows a young boy named Milo and his travel into a strange world through a magical tollbooth that appears mysteriously one day in his bedroom.

Befriending a bug and watch dog, he meets a host of zany characters on his quest to bring back the princesses, Rhyme and Reason, from their banishment. Wordplay abounds and nonsensical, twisted logic seems to be the norm in this world filled with head-strong rulers, an eccentric doctor, a completely ineffective and comedic cabinet, and a horde of devious demons. Will Milo make it on his journey? Order your tickets from the link below and find out!
