The Lower School ice hockey team attended the Washington Capitals versus Seattle Kraken game at Capital One Arena on December 9. After the game, the Bulldogs faced off against Alice Deal Middle School at the arena for what is sure to be a lifelong memory for everyone. The Bulldogs displayed sportsmanship and team work in their victory against Alice Deal. Said Head Coach Ted Haley: “This game was the culmination of an exciting week of STA Lower School ice hockey. Over the course of five days, the team earned wins over Landon, Mater Dei, and Alice Deal. These were all hard fought victories over solid teams. We all owe a big thank you to Donald Fishman ’87 for inviting us to play Alice Deal on the same surface that Alex Ovechkin and the Caps call their home. Thank you also to the parents and fans who came out to see this special night.” Let’s go, Bulldogs!
