Pura Vida

Enjoy scenes from the first Lower School Cathedral chapel of the year!

The Lower School community gathered in the Great Choir for an intimate Cathedral chapel last week. The Rev. Leslie E. Chadwick centered her homily around her traveling adventures to Costa Rica with her family this summer. “Pura vida,” which translates to “pure life,” is something that is said and heard often in Costa Rica. Said Rev. Chadwick, “Let’s approach this year not trying to hold tight to what we’ve been given. Let’s keep our hands, minds, and spirits open to receive the life God wants to give us.” Click here to read her homily in its entirety and enjoy video of the Choristers singing “A Grateful Heart” by Mary Plumstead and photos from the chapel.
