Close Love Project

Close Love Project

After assembling more than 1,000 Valentine’s Day goodie bags featuring KN95 masks, hand sanitizer, vitamin c packets, tea, cocoa, chocolates, and student-made Valentines, Close School families delivered kits to our area community partners–Armed Forces Retirement Home, Christ House, Harriet Tubman Women’s Shelter, Samaritan Inns, Seabury at Friendship Terrace, and Seabury’s Age-in-Place office.

Said our community partner at AFRH: “Thank you to the larger Cathedral Schools community for supporting us through the pandemic. These goodie bags continue to be a pick me up through the hard times, and we’re looking forward to having students over to help in the, hopefully, near future!”

Thank you to everyone for your time, art, and contributions. We are grateful to collaborate as Close Schools to support our partners and their work with local seniors, veterans, patients experiencing homelessness, and clients in recovery. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Located in Washington D.C.,  St. Albans School is a private, all boys day and boarding school. For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12. While our students reach exceptional academic goals and exhibit first-rate athletic and artistic achievements, as an Episcopal school we place equal emphasis upon moral and spiritual education.
