Attiogbe Named Gatorade Boys Cross-Country Runner of the Year for D.C.

Congratulations to Pierre Attiogbe ’23 who was named the Gatorade Boys Cross-Country Runner of the Year for the District of Columbia. Attiogbe was both the individual IAC and D.C. state champion, winning nearly every meet he entered last fall. He helped the team win its 12th consecutive IAC Championship, earning All-IAC recognition. Said Cross-Country Head Coach Jim Ehrenhaft ’83, “It’s a well-deserved honor for Pierre. He clearly established himself as the top distance runner in D.C. this fall, but as impressive a performer as he was, he was just as impressive a teammate. In all ways, he embodies what our cross-country program aspires to.” Join us in congratulating Attiogbe on this achievement!
