Homecoming 2019

Homecoming 2019

Bulldogs near and far returned to the Close for Homecoming 2019. Festivities kicked off on Friday with a pre-party for Lower School students, who joined Upper School students at a pep rally later that afternoon. On Saturday, the varsity soccer team defeated Washington Latin 6-0. Alumni, families, and friends enjoyed a cookout and family-fun activities on Grant Meadow before the football game. During halftime BEEF and Bulldog fans charged Steuart Field for the Homecoming parade, featuring a bagpiper and Alumni Association President Carter DeLorme’s ’88 beloved bulldog, Homer. The varsity football team defeated Bishop O’Connell 21-16, while the cross-country team placed second out of 21 teams at the Salesianum Invitational in Wilmington, Del. It was a great day to be a Bulldog. Enjoy the photos!
