Making Waves

Mr. Miller’s Form C science classes welcomed first graders from Beauvoir to their classes for a special lesson on waves. Students discussed transverse and longitudinal waves and delved deeper into the lesson by making their very own wave machine with duct tape, bamboo skewers, and gummy bears. The highlight of the lesson plan was when students were finally able to enjoy the “fruits” of their labor and devour the gummy bears. Enjoy the photos!
