Blessing of the Animals 2018

Enjoy the photos!

With fall comes one of our most beloved chapel services: the Blessing of the Animals. Both Lower and Upper School students and teachers brought their pets for a special blessing, with a new record of furry guests in attendance at the Upper School service. In the Lower School service, C Formers read poems they wrote for their pets and all animals they loved and everyone enjoyed a special performance by the choristers and orchestra members, while the Upper School vestry read the names of beloved family pets no longer with us in their service. The chaplains offered a blessing for each animal before an asperging from vestry members, and the highlight of the service for our special guests, a treat! Thank you to all the families who participated in the special chapel services. Enjoy the photos!
