The Stanley Cup Comes to STA

A great day to be a Bulldog! Don Fishman ’87, assistant general manager for the Washington Capitals, returned to St. Albans to share the Stanley Cup with us. Fishman and his classmates surprised the Lower School at lunch, entering the Cafritz Refectory with the cup hoisted above his head. The alumni then had the opportunity to relive their days at STA when they sat down with Upper Schoolers for lunch. Not missing any of the action, the Class of 2019 returned from their senior retreat just in time for the perfect photo in front of the Peace Cross—rocking the red—of course. We will be reminiscing about this day for years to come. Many thanks to Don Fishman, the Washington Capitals, and everyone who helped make this magical day happen!

Read more about the celebration thanks to Gene Wang ’87, STA alum and Washington Post sports reporter.
